FY 2025 H-1B Lottery Registration Will Now Happen March 6 at 12 p.m. EST to March 25 at 12 p.m. EST. Be sure to register as early as possible to ensure your registration process goes smoothly.
The United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) announced that it will extend the initial registration period for the FY 2025 H-1B cap. The initial registration period for the H-1B cap FY 2025 1B opened at noon Eastern Time on March 6, 2024 and will now continue until noon Eastern Time on March 25, 2024..
The registration period was originally scheduled to last until noon Eastern Time on March 22, 2024, but due to a temporary system outage that affected some users, USCIS extended it by several days to give more candidates the opportunity to register.
USCIS says it still intends to notify selected filersby March 31, 2024.
NOTE: Starting this year, all employers and their prospective H-1B employees will be required to have a shared “myUSCIS organizational account” to participate in the H-1B electronic registration process. All registrants will also be required to provide passport or travel document information when registering.
