Fortune Reports that the cybersecurity field is experiencing incredible demand. Cybersecurity Ventures believes that there are currently 3.5 million unfilled cybersecurity jobs worldwideand that “the disparity between supply and demand will persist at least until 2025”.

Here are some of the the highest paying cybersecurity jobs from various sources compiled by Fortune:

1. The average salary for a chief information security officer, or CISO, is approximately $243,000, according to Salary.com.

2. The second highest paying position is Director of Information Security, with an average salary of around $189,000.

3. A cybersecurity engineer can earn a salary of $150,000 per year, according to Glassdoor.

4. Cybersecurity architects can expect an average salary of $148,000, according to data from Indeed.

5. Another 6-figure position is application security engineer, which pays around $138,000 per year, according to Indeed.
