There are many reasons to extend the life of a laptop, not just to save money. You might want to do your part to help the environment, but without sending a valid piece of kit into the trash too soon. Maybe you like the challenge of continuing. Maybe you want to have a spare to use in an emergency or when you go somewhere you don’t want to take your old one. If the old battery no longer works, get a new one.
