The House Homeland Security has released its interim report on the second phase of the ongoing investigation into Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas. Launched in June, the Committee’s investigation into Mayorkas focuses on his dereliction of duty in five phases. The second phase examines how drug cartels were strengthened under Mayorkas, documenting the increase in cartel violence, drug trafficking, and human trafficking.
