Hacker group IntelBroker has claimed responsibility for a potential cyberattack on a popular (undisclosed) mobile banking app with more than 10 million users. The malicious actor, known for his prowess in exploiting vulnerabilities, posted details of the exploit on a hacker forum on Saturday, January 27, 2024.
IntelBroker’s post, titled “(Cyber Niggers) Popular Mobile Banking Vulnerability», proposes an exploit capable of recovering and disclosing sensitive information from the banking application. The data for sale includes users’ full names, countries, and payment methods. THE pirate requires payment exclusively in XMR (Monero) and has provided visuals to highlight the severity of the exploit.
Cyber attack claims from IntelBroker Hacker Group and Cyber Niggers
The exact target of this attack is not explicitly mentioned in the message. However, speculation stemming from the Daily’s initial Dark web hinting at Nu Bank being the potential target.
