United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) announcement launching organizational accounts and filing online forms for the future H-1B cap seasons.

Organizational accounts will allow multiple individuals within a company or business entity, along with their legal representatives, to work together on H-1B registrations, Form I-129 (Petition for Nonimmigrant Worker), and the associated Form I-907 (Request for Premium Processing Service). USCIS plans to introduce organizational accounts in February 2024, with online filing of Forms I-129 and I-907 as an early follow-up.

These improvements are expected to increase efficiency, minimize duplicate H-1B filings and other common errors, and make the H-1B process more collaborative and intuitive for businesses and their legal teams.

The launch of organizational accounts and online filing of key H-1B forms are also part of a broader USCIS initiative to digitize the entire H-1B system. “USCIS is always working to improve and streamline its processes, and this is a big step forward,” said USCIS Director Ur M. Jaddou. “Once we launch organizational accounts and online filing of I-129 H-1B petitions, the entire H-1B lifecycle becomes fully electronic.”
